Behind her, there's a painted mural of a sunset with palm trees, a silhouette of a mountain, and a wolf's head. There are lounge chairs, an umbrella, and potted plants nearby.

How Individual Therapy Works With Me

Individual therapy with me is one-on-one, tailored entirely around you, & based on whatever brought you here.

That might be the pressure of holding everything together as a high-achiever, the disorientation of a major life transition, the quiet exhaustion of being a parent or caregiver who never gets asked how they're doing, or the work of figuring out who you are as a teen or young adult in a world full of opinions.

It might be something else entirely that doesn't fit neatly into a category. That's okay, too.

We'll spend our time together doing real work:

understanding the patterns that are keeping you stuck, building tools that actually fit your life, and creating space to process the stuff you don't get to say out loud anywhere else.

Some sessions will feel like strategy.
Some will feel like finally exhaling.
Both count.

My Therapy Values, in Practice

Welcoming

This is a space for everyone, full stop. No judgment, no need to explain or justify who you are before you're allowed to start therapy. You're not just welcome here. You're accepted, exactly as you show up.

Authenticity

Healing doesn't happen behind a mask. I promise to bring my whole self so that you know you’re receiving genuine care, every step of the way.  In our sessions, you don't have to have it all figured out, perform positivity, or edit yourself to be more palatable. I want the real version of you — messy parts included — because that's the version we can actually help.

Balance

Success and well-being aren't opposites, and you shouldn't have to choose between them. Together, we'll work toward a version of your life that honors both your ambition and your peace, because you deserve a life that feels good to live, not just one that looks good from the outside.

What therapy sessions with me actually look like

Your first session is mostly just us getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping for, and whether I'm the right fit for you (that matters to me just as much as it matters to you). From there, sessions are a mix of honest conversation and practical tools: we might work through unhelpful thought patterns, practice mindfulness when things feel like too much, or simply sit in the hard stuff without rushing to fix it. Your therapy sessions, and the approach we take, is based on you and your desires.

These sessions are for YOU.

You set the pace in therapy.

Some weeks will be about untangling something specific; other weeks will just be about having somewhere to land.

I'll bring the clinical training and the tools.

You bring the honesty, and we'll build the rest together.

You don't have to have the right words yet, or even know exactly what you need. You just have to be willing to start.
