Meet Your Therapist, Sacha
Sacha Lyson, LPC-A, Texas Therapist
I believe in bringing an empathetic, person-centered approach to each client I have the privilege of working with. Their stories are unique, but they are not alone.
I have been the burnt out high-achiever, climbing the corporate ladder.
As a Chief People & Culture Officer with over 17 years of “chasing the dream,” I learned what it takes to have the seat at the table, and the stress of wanting to always be a top performer.
I also fully understand the overwhelming experience of balancing a lucrative career with the everyday responsibilities of life as a parent, caregiver, partner, and friend.
Therapy is a safe space to drop the performance
My approach to counseling is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel like one of the few places where you don't have to perform.
You don't have to have the right words, the perfect plan, or all the answers before walking through the door. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, anxious, or simply trying to make sense of a new chapter in life, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted.
My Brand Values
-

Authenticity
We believe healing begins when you can show up as your true self without masks, expectations, or the pressure to have it all figured out.
-

Welcoming
This is a space for everyone, free from judgment to show up as their whole selves & know that they will be not just welcome, but accepted.
-

Balance
Success and wellness are not mutually exclusive. We help clients create lives that honor both ambition and well-being.
My Journey to Therapy
I've always been fascinated by people- their stories, their resilience, and the incredible ways they grow through life's biggest challenges.
Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate (LPC-A), I spent more than 5 years as an Executive & Career Coach and more than 17 years building a career in Human Resources and executive leadership, culminating in my role as a Chief People & Culture Officer.
Throughout those years, I had the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals from all walks of life as they navigated career decisions, leadership challenges, workplace conflict, personal loss, major life transitions, and seasons of uncertainty.
While my role wasn't that of a therapist, it gave me a front-row seat to the very human experiences that shape us and sparked a passion for helping people in a deeper, more meaningful way.
That passion ultimately led me back to school to earn my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and pursue my calling as a therapist.
I’m passionate about helping others and I could not be more grateful to be a part of so many people’s journeys!
Who do I work with?
I work with high achievers, teens and young adults, parents and caregivers, and adults navigating life's many transitions.
Many of my clients are juggling careers, relationships, families, expectations, and responsibilities while quietly wondering why everything feels harder than it looks for everyone else. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build practical tools that fit your real life, and create meaningful change that feels authentic—not forced.
Therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical.
It can be a place where you're challenged with compassion, celebrated for your growth, and reminded that you don't have to navigate life alone.
Therapist by Day, Loving Life by Night
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll likely find me spending time with my family, finding an epic weekend farmer’s market, reading a good book, singing along at a live show, enjoying a walk around Austin’s gorgeous Lady Bird Lake, or trying my hand at a new hobby.
I believe growth happens both inside and outside the therapy office, and I strive to live the same balanced, intentional life I encourage my clients to pursue.
